Description

To provide expert legal advice and solutions on complex business matters related to legal cost insurance policy holders (both personal and business). The role involves partnering with the Short-Term Insurance business to ensure compliance, mitigate legal risk, manage litigation support, and guide more junior legal advisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support on Legal Insurance matters
• Offer legal advice and guidance to clients
• Draft and review legal documents and contracts
• Provide subject matter expertise to manage legal risk for clients and the business
• Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements
• Identify process improvements to prevent wastage and reduce costs
• Build working relationships across teams to enhance collaboration
• Deliver customer service excellence by adhering to quality standards

Qualifications

• Education: LLB Degree
• Professional Status: Must be an Admitted Attorney
• Experience: At least 2 years of post-articles experience
• Skills & Competencies:
• A self-starter with effective time management and the ability to work independently
• Ability to work within a call centre environment
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex legal matters
• Adaptable, curious, and thrives in a collaborative environment
